The brand’s footwear collections will be produced by Italian shoemaker Be71 and distributed by Massimo Bonini.
MILAN — Italian women’s and children’s wear brand Vivetta has signed a licensing agreement with footwear manufacturing company Be71 for the production of the label’s shoe collections.
The collaboration between the two companies started this month with the launch of the Vivetta resort 2020 lineup, which is distributed by leading accessories showroom Massimo Bonini.
“Since I was a child I always loved to try on my mother’s numerous and extravagant shoes and my passion for accessories was born then. The dream became reality when I started to design the first styles to complete the look for the runway shows and the look books. Then, season after season, I started feeling a stronger desire to create full footwear collections, expressing my creativity in a unique and authentic way,” said Vivetta creative director Vivetta Ponti. “The new partnership with Be71 and the Massimo Bonini showroom represents a further, important step in the development of the brand. These collaborations will enable us to create exclusive products, reflecting both the vision of the brand and Be71’s footwear manufacturing know-how.”
The first Vivetta footwear collection produced by Be71 includes sandals, pumps, mules and flats defined by a signature glossy pink sole and Vivetta’s feminine face profile printed on the insole. Developed in a range of materials, such as patent leather and satin, the shoe styles are enriched with elements of the designer’s whimsical iconography, such as swans, cats and fingers with red nail polish.
Be71 owner and chief executive officer Cleto Sagripanti underscored that the agreement will span from the concept to the design phase and from the creation of prototypes to product development.
The Vivetta resort collection retails from 290 euros to 550 euros.
